As a passionate photographer, one of my side projects is Lensballvienna. On this dedicated page, I showcase captivating images captured using lensballs. These optical crystal spheres allow me to create unique compositions, capturing a 180-degree view of my surroundings. Whether I’m using a professional camera or my smartphone, lensball photography adds an artistic twist to my portfolio.
What Is Lensball-Photography?
Lensball-photography has a long history. Essentially, it involves using a glass spherical ball as a lens optic. When light passes through the ball, refraction occurs, resulting in a flipped 180-degree image. How you handle this inverted image—whether through post-processing or other techniques—determines the success of your crystal ball photo.
